Bookings are valid only on receipt of a confirmation email or acknowledgement letter.
All cats must be vaccinated against cat flu and feline infectious enteritis and be up to date with annual boosters within the last 12 months. Pets will not be accepted without a current vaccination certificate, signed by their vet, which can be left with us throughout their stay.
All cats must be on a current flea/worm treatment which will cover the length of their stay. • Any known medical condition or illness must be declared at the time of booking/check-in.
We reserve the right to refuse pets with any illness which might endanger other animals or which has not been notified to us in advance. All animals are accepted at owner’s risk.
We are happy to administer most treatments as prescribed by a vet, provided the medication is clearly labelled with written instructions (injections by prior agreement).
Unneutered or un-spayed cats over six months old will not be accepted for boarding without prior agreement with us in advance. An additional cleaning charge may be required.
A non-refundable 10% deposit (minimum £30 charge) must be paid within 7 days of the booking, especially during peak times. Full payment for peak times should be paid 14 days prior to arrival. Payments can be made by cash, cheque, bank transfer or cards (a small surcharge may apply to some business credit/debit cards).
Short notice cancellations (less that 14 days) are subject to a minimum 50% charge.
A full day’s board will be charged for both arrival and departure days in all instances. Owners are requested to advise their ideal times. However, we would prefer pets to be dropped off in the afternoon and collected in the morning unless otherwise agreed.
There is a three-day minimum stay throughout the year except for peak times like Easter, Summer Holidays, Christmas and New Year, when a five-day minimum charge will apply.
Payment for boarding is due at time of arrival, except in the case of long term boarding, when payment shall be settled monthly in advance or by other prior agreement.
All cats must be transported in a suitable pet carrier which will stay with the pet throughout their stay. This ensures their safety in case of emergency or unexpected trips to the vet.
Any veterinary treatment deemed necessary is at the pet owners’ expense, unless covered under our own insurance. Charges may be incurred to cover time and transportation.
In the unlikely event of non-collection of your cat on the check-out date and subsequent failure to either contact or resolve the situation with your nominated emergency contact person within 14 days of this due check out date, we reserve the right to find alternative accommodation for your pet on a temporary or permanent basis.
If in the unlikely and unfortunate event a cat should pass away whilst staying in the Cattery, the owner or owners’ contact person will be advised. The cat will be taken to the Cattery’s designated veterinary surgery for the appropriate safe storage until the owner’s return, unless otherwise instructed by the owner.
Visitors to the Cattery are not allowed to touch any pet other than their own.
